Welcome to the Iota Chapter of Sigma Omicron Pi (ΣΟΠ), the nation's oldest Asian American interest sorority. The sisterhood of ΣΟΠ was founded in 1930 to further the awareness of women in Asian culture. As strong women participating in various social, academic, and community activities, we maintain our objectives of unity, friendship, leadership, and community service established over 78 years ago. The Iota Chapter of Pennsylvania State University was founded on July 9th, 2001 and is a part of a strong sisterhood that consists of 13 chapters nationwide. Today, we have over 1,000 alumni sisters across the country. This website provides an inside look of the sisters of Iota Chapter and a glimpse of one of the nation's most reputable Asian American interest sorority. |

interest sorority, established in 1930 at San Francisco
State University.
