“On December 4 1906…”
The visionary founders, known as the "7 Jewels" of the Fraternity, came together and started the greatest fraternity in the history of the black race. They are Henry Arthur Callis, Charles Henry Chapman, Eugene Kinckle Jones, George Biddle Kelley, Nathaniel Allison Murray, Robert Harold Ogle, and Vertner Woodson Tandy. To them much honor and thanks is given from all men of Old Gold and Black.
