Special Events: Homecoming

Homecoming is an extremely exciting time for the PennState community. Panhellenic women have the opportunity to experience Homecoming in a hands on way. As with other special events, a sorority will pair with a fraternity to compete in various events throughout the week. Airbands, a lip-synching contest, is always a crowd favorite, and the parade is a great chance for everyone to see the spirit of the Nittany Lions! The Pep Rally, held right after the parade, is where the King and Queen Coronation is held. The Homecoming King and Queen for 2008 were both Greek!

Homecoming 2009's theme is "Remember the Lion Within". As an end to this fantastic week of celebrating legendary Penn State traditions, the Nittany Lions will take on Minnesota on Saturday, October 17, 2009.
