Today's Friends, Tomorrow's Leaders, Forever in Service
Omega Phi Alpha is a national service sorority committed to serving the local and university community, as well as the nations of the world. We are an organization based on the ideals of sisterhood, friendship, leadership, and cooperation. The Alpha Theta chapter of Omega Phi Alpha was formed at Penn State in 2006 and is an associate member of the Penn State Panhellenic Council.
Omega Phi Alpha was founded in 1967 in Bowling Green State University, in Ohio. Before we became Omega Phi Alpha at Penn State, we were known as Theta Alpha Pi, a social-service sorority unique to Penn State. Today, we are a thriving sisterhood of 50 girls, proud to be a part of the Omega Phi Alpha legacy. We actively participate in Homecoming, The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON) and other campus greek-life activities while engaging in regular community service activities.
