Children's Miracle Network (CMN)The sisters of Phi Mu are very proud of their leadership in the community especially through our National Philanthropy. CMN is our National Philanthropy. This is a non-profit organization that helps to improve children's lives that have been burden with injuries as well as diseases all across North America. Our fundraising goes to help to provide medical care for the millions of kids in need. CMN's headquarters is located in Salt Lake City, Utah and has expanded to assist over seventeen million children making this organization one of the world's biggest charities for children. The way we fundraise for CMN is our See-Saw activity. See-Saw is when we set up a see-saw downtown and someone needs to be on it for a period of time. People donate money for the cause which goes straight to CMN. www.childrensmiraclenetwork.org Penn State Dance MaraTHONThis past year the sisters are were paired with the brothers of Phi Psi for Penn State's 46-hour Dance Marathon, which benefits The Four Diamonds. This past year THON raised $6,615,318.04 which breaks the record for any other year. THON is a not only a major part of being a Phi Mu, but also a major part of being a Penn Stater. The fund provides funding for children battling cancer as well as providing money for research. Our THON child is Elizabeth. She is an amazing girl who is currently in remission! Not only do the sisters of Phi Mu hold their own philanthropy but they have also dominated in other Greek organizations philanthropies this past year. The Beta Mu chapter took home 1st place in Sigma Kappa's broomball as well as placing in Sigma Chi's Derby Days, Phi Sig's All Stars, Lambda Chi's Watermelon bash, and many others!
