As a Member of the Panhellenic Council, Sigma kappa participates in the Formal Recruitment during the Fall semester. All Penn State women are invited to participate in Formal Recruitment which consists of three rounds, preference night, and finally Bid Day. This offers the sisters and potential new members the chance to become familiar with each other. The sisters of the Theta Psi Chapter look for women whose qualities embody the principles on which Sigma Kappa was founded. Sigma Kappas are active in their community and campus in addition to their chapter.
